Prepare this delicious salsa in no time, It is simple and delicious! It works great as a dressing for salad, dip for fried chicken. I also love it on the pizza or chips! Traditionally Tomatillos are added to this recipe but their availability may be an issue to many of you. They are not mandatory to make delicious Salsa but I do recommend you to chase this ingredient!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large ripe avocado

  • juice of one lime

  • 100ml of water

  • a handful of coriander

  • 1 garlic clove, sliced

  • 1/2tsp of salt

  • 1 green chilli, seeds removed and diced

  • black pepper to garnish

  • (optional) handful of spinach

  • (optional) 2 tomatillos, roughly chopped (they are not mandatory to make delicious salsa but using them can elevate it even more.

Instructions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in an electric bullet or blender.

  2. Blend together and if needed add more water until you get a saucy consistency (because avocado contains a lot of fat you create an emulsion by adding water, that is why you may need a lot more to make it runny)

  3. Once the right consistency is achieved, check the seasoning and adjust to your preference. I like it to be slightly salty with a nice citrusy zap and enough spice to tingle the background.

  4. Salsa can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can transfer it to the squeezy bottle to drizzle over the food.
